Chilling At The Counter

Last week Cam and I went to The Counter. We kept trying to figure out where we were gonna go to get beer. Not just regular ass beer because Cam knows good beer and it takes a special tasting beer for me to give a damn about beer. We managed to make it to the restaurant during the last five minutes of happy hour. I never go to happy hours. I ordered an Allagash that had 11% alcohol and proceeded to get plastered.

Cam got this sampler they had and realized that the ones with the most alcohol tasted the best.

BLT From Toast

I had a surprise hangout with Cam this morning. We went to Toast which, as the last time I pointed out, had redone the place. We sat outside for the first time for me and I got a BLT while she got a salad thing. I know a large part of me getting the BLT was based on the fact that we had recently eaten these weird ass BLT Lays. Click that link, weirdoes. There was avocado on my sandwich and I got a side of fries. Oh, and a Sprite to drink since that is the most non-intrusive drink one can order besides water and you know I don’t touch that stuff.

BLT From Swinger's

Went to Swinger’s again last week. Cam asked me what I wanted to eat and since I had been getting all burgerfied the past few weeks I wanted something a bit different. I wanted some kinda sandwich. We headed to a place that is quickly becoming one of my favorite places, Swinger’s.

I got a BLT. Calling it a BLT isn’t even fair to this beast. I read on the menu that is was a triple decker. I know how places are. It could’ve been one layer B, one L, and one T. I asked a waiter and it was confirmed that it was three layers of bacon.

Orgasm.

When that thing got to the table I didn’t even know how to pick it up. I made sure to add avocado to it. Oh, you don’t know ‘bout avocado on a BLT? Try it. It makes it taste so much better. This was one of the best BLT’s I ever had. Seriously, this thing was amazing. If you haven’t been to Swinger’s you gotta go soon!
